Spring Discounted Launch
May 4-7, 2026
Day 1 (6 miles)
Meet at the Orcas Hotel before exploring local boutiques and picking up the day’s lunch from several great choices (or bring your own). Our first stop is Warm Valley Orchard. If there is interest, we can stop at the Exchange and various farms and artisan’s studios, before finishing at the golf course with the option of a round of mini golf.
Day 2 (7 miles)
Meet at Orcas Golf Course, proceed to Judd Cove Preserve to explore this important part of island history. From there, we meander up Crow Valley to the beloved Coffelt/Lum farm where we will indulge in local delicacies and visit the animals. The road-less traveled beacons as we head to Westcott Art Studio and barefoot walking trail before a farm to table lunch at West Beach Farm. We will visit the iconic Orcas Island Pottery and finally West Beach Resort before the last two-mile stretch to Eastsound.
Day 3 (5 miles)
Start the morning walking Crescent Beach Preserve, passing Big Little Farm and Inn at Ship Bay. With Sweeping views of Eastsound to spur us on, we take a hardy walk up Flaherty’s Hill. We will be a met with a delightful picnic lunch at Cascade Lake.
Day 4 (7 miles)
Meet at Cascade Lake for a glorious walk to Doe Bay. Begin in the beauty of Moran State Park and enjoy the glorious view as we descend into the hamlet of Olga. We will visit the Olga County Park and Dock as well as the Olga Store, visit the historic Orcas Island Artworks Gallery and Lascaux Cafe. We will buy lunch in Olga or bring you own. After lunch, we will explore the Coho Preserve, learning of the work being done to preserve local salmon runs. We will enjoy the final leg along the beauty and serenity of Point Lawerence Road to Doe Bay Resort. Here, we will conclude our walking trip with 1 ½ hours of the amenities, hot tub and sauna.
